100 Collections
100 Collections is a curated selection of objects by Japanese craftspeople, bringing together works shaped by material, technique, place and time. The project introduces craftsmanship not as something nostalgic or decorative, but as a
living practice : one that continues to evolve through the hands of contemporary makers.
Each object is selected for the story it carries: the material it comes from, the region where it is made, the knowledge behind its making, and the particular sensibility of the craftsperson. Presented in Luxembourg, the collection creates a quiet encounter with Japanese making — allowing objects to be discovered slowly, understood through touch, use and context, and appreciated as part of everyday life.
Over time, 100 Collections will grow into an evolving archive of Japanese craftsmanship, connecting makers, objects and stories with a new audience in Luxembourg.

24-scents-of-the-seasons
The inspiration was to translate each sekki into a smell drawn from Japanese nature and ritual: plum blossom, damp earth after rain, cedar and hinoki forests, bamboo, moss, green tea leaves, rice fields, straw, sea breeze, fallen leaves, incense, tatami, yuzu bath, cold air before snow.

yunotsu-pottery
Beautifully crafted Yunotsu-yaki pottery from Shimane Prefecture, made by Masao Moriyama of Moriyama Kiln. Each piece features a deep, elegant green-to-blue glaze, with subtle variations created by the firing process. The rich surface, quiet irregularities and tactile character reveal the hand of the maker, making every vessel unique.
Rooted in the long tradition of Yunotsu ceramics, these pieces bring together earth, fire and everyday use — functional objects with a strong sense of place, made to be lived with and appreciated over time.
